The Boston Museum of Science WeatherWise website was developed as a part of an NSF-funded grant for weather education. This exhibit presents information about the weather and how it affects our daily lives. The exhibit also develops skills in "nowcasting", making short-term forecasts for specific locations. The website extends the power of the exhibit beyond the museum, teaching users to use live weather data, including USPLN lightning data, to make their own informed nowcasts.
